Mya Lesnar, NCAA indoor shot put champion and daughter of WWE and UFC legend Brock Lesnar, is now making headlines for something outside the field—her relationship with Drew Moss.
The Colorado State track and field standout has been dating Moss, a fellow CSU athlete, and the two recently went public on social media.
Here’s a closer look at their relationship and everything to know about Mya’s first official boyfriend.
Moss Made It Official First
Drew Moss, now an NFL guard for the San Francisco 49ers, was the first to go public about his relationship with his girlfriend, Mya Lesnar. He shared a photo of the two on Instagram on Sunday, July 13—making it official.
The couple looked sharp in matching black outfits. Moss wore a classic tux with a black bow tie and a light pink boutonniere. Mya stood beside him in a fitted black gown with a plunging neckline and ruched waist, her blonde hair draped in soft waves over one shoulder. The two posed outdoors, arm-in-arm.
The second photo in the post showed Moss planting a kiss on Mya’s cheek.
He captioned the post, “Forever wedding date❤️”
And Mya didn’t wait long to respond, writing back, “My handsome man 😍”
They have only a one-year age gap—Mya was born on April 10, 2002, while Moss was born on May 21, 2003.
Interestingly, the post is one of only three on Moss’s entire profile. He’s not very active online, but he was the first to make things public.
When Did They Meet?
In a May 2025 interview, Mya mentioned having a boyfriend, though she didn’t name Moss at the time. While the exact start of their relationship hasn’t been confirmed, many believe it began while the two were at Colorado State University.
Both were standout athletes at CSU and part of the school’s competitive sports programs.
Mya was a dominant force in track and field, competing in shot put, discus, hammer throw, and weight throw. She broke the school’s shot put record in December 2023 with a throw of 18.50 meters at the Mines Alumni Classic. Just months later, she claimed the Mountain West Outdoor title with a 19.08-meter throw in May 2024 and went on to win the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Moss, meanwhile, played two seasons with the Rams, appearing in 25 games. He earned All-Mountain West Second Team honors in 2024 and Honorable Mention in 2023.
Drew Moss’ High School Career
Moss attended Richardson High School in Texas, where he played on the varsity football team and competed in track and field as a thrower. He made an early impact, earning All-Area honors as a junior.
His high school career included several standout recognitions: 2019 All-District selection, 2020 First Team All-District 7-6A tackle, and District 7-6A Utility Player of the Year in his senior season.
After that, he played his first two college seasons at Lamar University (2021–2022), starting all 22 games at right tackle.
He Is Now Signed With the San Francisco 49ers: His Salary
Drew is officially part of the NFL, having signed a three-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers that runs through 2027. The contract is worth $2,985,000 and includes a $20,000 signing bonus, $145,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $995,000.
For the 2025 season, he is set to earn a base salary of $840,000.
His Family Background
Moss is the son of Douglas and Regina Moss, both former college athletes at Rice University—his father played football, and his mother competed in swimming. Regina also lists herself as a “retired teacher/coach” on her Instagram.
He has two siblings: a brother named Sam and a sister named Hannah. Hannah studied nuclear engineering at Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2016.
