Adding to the controversy was the fact that Jesús hadn’t posted any photos of Anmarie on his own social media, fueling rumors about his commitment. I am a very family-oriented person. I have always been very close to my family. Even though my whole family is in Barquisimeto, I have built a new family with Manuel’s dad, with Jesus, I try to make sure that we can share all the special moments. And although I cannot constantly travel to Barquisimeto, I always look for a way to have them come and share with me.
Her Childhood Dream Was Becoming an Engineer
Anmarie never originally planned for a career in the limelight. Belonging to a not-so-well-off background, her actual childhood dream was to become an engineer, as she recounted on Gente Que Motiva,
When you’re young, you start dreaming about what you want to be, and you tell your parents what you want to do when you grow up. I don’t even know why I ever wanted to work on television. I wanted to be an engineer. My mom was the only one holding the family together during that time. She worked at so many different things. In fact, my mom used to sell sweets, hallacas, cakes…”
However, fate had other plans for Anmarie. At just 14, she took her first steps into the world of modeling, earning a scholarship that opened doors to the fashion industry. By 24, she wasn’t just walking runways but also shaping a future in the TV world, joining Televen in 2010.
She Has Done Many Theaters
Despite her busy television career, she always manages to return to the stage, delivering roles that captivate audiences. One of her standout performances was in Celosa Yo?, Para Nada, a hyperrealistic comedy penned by Oswaldo Estrada.
