Zack Martin is a guard in the National Football League who starred at Notre Dame before the Dallas Cowboys selected him in the 2014 NFL Draft. Over his career he has collected nine Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors and was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Morgan Eifert was born on October 22, 1992, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Julie Burns Eifert and Gregory “Greg” Eifert. Both parents have ties to Purdue University: Greg attended Purdue from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor of Science and playing basketball under coach Gene Keady, while Julie is also a Purdue graduate. Since 1988, Greg has served as President of Midwest Optical Consultants Inc. and worked as a key account sales specialist.
Following her family’s academic path, Morgan graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. Prior to college, she attended Bishop Dwenger High School, a private Catholic school in Fort Wayne.
Morgan is one of four siblings: an older brother, Tyler, and two younger brothers, Grady and Griffin. Tyler played professional football for the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars; he is married to Rachael Kimack and they have a son named Lennon.
Grady played basketball at Purdue and later returned to the program as a graduate assistant rather than pursuing a professional playing career. The youngest sibling, Griffin, is a wide receiver at Notre Dame, occupying a role similar to the position Tyler played in football.
Building a Married Life with Husband Zack Martin
Eifert and Martin were married on July 2, 2016, in a private ceremony held at the Fort Wayne Country Club. Though they kept the event intimate, Morgan later shared a handful of photos from their wedding on social media.
Zack proposed in June 2015 during a planned moment on a lake boat ride, presenting Morgan with a ring. After she accepted, family and friends waiting on the shore celebrated the engagement with champagne.
They had dated for several years before tying the knot, keeping much of their relationship out of the public eye. Still, Zack posted some early photos of the two on his Instagram as their relationship developed.
Their connection began while Zack was a junior at Notre Dame and living as a roommate of Morgan’s older brother, Tyler Eifert. The brothers were close, and Zack’s frequent visits to Tyler’s home led to him getting to know Morgan. Their romance didn’t start until after Morgan finished high school.
Morgan as the Mother of Three
Morgan and Zack welcomed their first child, a son named Charles Richard “Charlie” Martin, on March 7, 2019. The next day, Zack celebrated the news on Instagram, writing: “Squad! Charles Richard Martin. 9lbs 4 oz. we are so lucky to have a momma to take care of us like @morgan.martin70. She was such a champ! #Martinpartyof3”.
That post included a photo and marked the beginning of their life as a family of three. Before Charlie arrived, Morgan had shared a sonogram image on Facebook to hint at the pregnancy.
Almost two years after Charlie was born, the couple added a daughter, Remi Ann Martin, to their family. Zack announced her arrival on Instagram, sharing a touching photo of Charlie holding his baby sister, Remi.
Their third child, Hudson Gage Martin, was born on February 20, 2024. His birth was quick but accompanied by complications that required a ten-night stay in the NICU.
