Luke Lesnar is the son of Brock Lesnar, one of the most dominant athletes to ever cross over between professional wrestling, MMA, and football. Known for his raw power and record-setting career, Brock holds the most reigns as WWE Universal Champion and has claimed wins in everything from the Royal Rumble to the King of the Ring tournament.
Beyond the ring, he left a mark in the octagon as well. A former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Lesnar returned from a serious bout of diverticulitis in 2010 to unify the title by defeating Shane Carwin, proving his toughness on every front.
While Brock’s name is recognized across sports and entertainment, his son, Luke, hasn’t escaped the spotlight either.
So, is Luke walking a similar path as his famous father—or is he taking a different route entirely?
From his attention-grabbing physique to the comparisons he constantly draws with his father, here’s what we know about Brock Lesnar’s son, Luke.
Who Is Luke Lesnar?
As mentioned, he is widely known as the son of Brock Lesnar—but when it comes to his athletic background, the internet has blurred the lines between fact and fiction.
He’s reportedly been described as a three-time Minnesota state wrestling champion, with multiple online claims suggesting he was headed to the University of Minnesota to wrestle, just like his dad. Others have said he had his sights set on WWE. But despite all the speculation, there are no verified records or official athlete profiles confirming any of these details.
Back in July 2019, Luke made waves with a now-deleted Instagram birthday post for his father. He shared a throwback photo with a caption that hinted at a future in professional wrestling:
“Life’s about to change pops, I promise you. All because you had faith in me. Thank you for allowing me to follow in your footsteps and make you proud. Happy birthday to my biggest inspiration, role model, and greatest dad in the world!”
What caught even more attention was Luke’s appearance—towering at 6-foot-4, weighing 202 pounds, and carrying the same powerful frame and glare that made Brock a global force.
Some also say he played ice hockey in his younger years, though again, that remains largely unverified.
Even fans on wrestling forums have tried to piece together the truth. One user wrote on InterMat in late 2023, “He’s the son of Brock Lesnar, and Luke was apparently a 3x Minnesota state champ. But I can’t find records of him wrestling in college. Anybody know?”
Another replied in agreement: “Yeah, the internet says he won multiple Minnesota state titles and was set to wrestle for the University of Minnesota—but I guess that’s just wrong.”
How Old Is Luke? His Early Life
Luke is 23 years old. He was born on April 10, 2002, in Alexandria, Minnesota, from Brock Lesnar’s relationship with his former fiancée, Nicole McClain. He grew up in his hometown and attended Alexandria Public Schools.
Luke’s mother, Nicole, is no stranger to the spotlight herself. A fitness model turned writer, she’s appeared in several TV segments and magazines over the years. She’s also a cancer survivor who has been actively involved in awareness and advocacy.
Outside of modeling, Nicole has worked as a contributor for Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine and appeared on the NBC Sports series of the same name. She also modeled for artist Dave Nestler in the piece titled Bored of Education and currently writes for Havalon Knives, according to her LinkedIn.
He Also Has a Twin Sister
Luke has a twin sister, Mya Lesnar, who’s quickly made a name for herself in American track and field. She attended Alexandria Area High School before moving on to Arizona State University, where she completed her freshman and sophomore years.
Now 23, Mya is focused on building her athletic career—and she’s already stacking up wins. In 2024, she took first place in shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston with a throw of 18.53 meters. That same year, she also claimed the top spot at the Mountain West Outdoor Championship.
Aside from Mya, Luke also has two half-brothers—Turk and Duke Lesnar—from Brock’s marriage to former WWE star Rena Greek, better known as Sable.
