Stacey Toten, an American actress, made a name for herself in the 1980s with memorable roles in Back to School (1986), Lovelines (1984), and Star 80 (1983). Yet, it wasn’t just her career that drew attention. She was once married to Chad McQueen, son of the late Hollywood icon Steve McQueen and Filipino star Neile Adams. Sadly, Chad passed away on September 11, 2024, at 63, leaving behind memories of his iconic performances as Dutch in The Karate Kid and The Karate Kid II.

Stacey and Chad’s marriage, which began in 1987, ended in divorce three years later in 1990. During their time together, they had a son, Steven McQueen, born on July 13, 1988. Steven has since followed in his family’s footsteps, finding success in Hollywood with his well-known role in The Vampire Diaries. Chad also had two other children, Chase and Madison, from his second marriage to Jeanie Galbraith.

Currently, Teton, 63, is married to NHL legend and Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille.

Stacey Now Resides in California With Her Second Husband

Stacey, daughter of Bob Totem and Pamela Ann Houck, currently lives in Santa Monica, California, with her family. She married Luc on June 27, 1992. Luc, a Canadian–American professional ice hockey executive and former player, is now the president of the Los Angeles Kings. Together, they also share a son, Jessarae Robitaille.

In a 2007 interview with ESPN, Luc spoke about their son Jessarae’s passion for playing guitar and exploring his creative talents. Today, Jessarae has grown into a successful singer and songwriter.

Throughout the years, Stacey and Luc have remained a strong couple, often sharing adorable moments of their life on social media. For their 30th wedding anniversary, Toten posted a photo with her spouse, calling him her “light and darkness” and expressing her enduring love: “yesterday, today, tomorrow, forever, and always.”

She Is an Advocate for Youth & Public Well-Being

Stacey has spent much of her life uplifting at-risk and foster youth, a passion that led her to co-found Echoes of Hope in 2007, an organization dedicated to providing resources and guidance to those in need. Through this initiative, Stacey ensures that young people receive not only the support but also the sense of belonging required to overcome life’s challenges.

As Chairwoman and Youth Guidance Director, Stacey oversees programs that help these youths face their struggles head-on and reach their full potential. In the process of growing Echoes of Hope, she even adopted Jevon Wilkes herself, making him the first person to go through the organization’s foster care program.

But her mission doesn’t stop there. In 2020, Stacey launched Mindful Empowerment, an initiative focused on personal growth through mindfulness and spiritual psychology. This platform offers sessions—both individual and group—where her approach centers around fostering resilience and self-awareness.

With her certification as a Mindfulness Teacher (CMT-P) in January 2018 and her studies in spiritual psychology at the University of Santa Monica from 2020 to 2022, Stacey masterfully blends her formal education with her innate ability to guide others through life’s challenges. She also extends her influence online, regularly sharing motivational quotes and insights on self-love and well-being through her Instagram, inspiring her audience to embrace a balanced and empowered life.
