Michael Kelly‘s better half, Karyn Kelly (née Mendel), 54, has been by his side since their fairytale wedding at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico on December 10, 2005.
They had been dating for several years before deciding to marry. The actor frequently mentions how fortunate he feels to have his wife in his life.
In 2023, on their 18th wedding anniversary, he reminisced about how moved he was on their wedding day, with tears of happiness as he watched his spouse walk down the aisle. He posted:
…With tears in my eyes all I could think was how damn lucky I was. And all I think today is how damn lucky I still am to have you by side. Always and Forever!!! (sic)
In 2019, the couple returned to the same hotel with their children, Frankie and Clinton, for a little nostalgic getaway.

Before her life with Michael, Mrs. Kelly worked as a bartender, and that’s exactly how their story began. The Penguin star had just moved to New York City after graduation, and fate led him straight to her. He first noticed her while she was bartending on Ludlow Street in the late 1990s.
He recalled with the NY Post that their eyes met through the restaurant window, igniting an undeniable connection between them. Karyn, showing her cool and laid-back vibe, even treated him to a free beer, which naturally led to conversations that flared the start of something special.
