Meet Tom Odell’s Wife Georgie– Are They Married With Kids?

Table of Content Show

Tom Odell, the English singer-songwriter known for Songs from Another Love, has been married to his longtime partner, Georgie Odell, for a couple of years now. Their relationship began quietly, built on a shared love for music and a bond that’s only grown stronger with time.

They’ve hit some of their biggest milestones in late November—most notably their engagement and wedding, both falling on the 25th. That date has clearly become a lucky one for them, holding a special place in their timeline together.

Even with packed schedules, the power couple has stayed deeply in sync. Here’s a closer look at their married life, why November 25 matters so much, and what Tom Odell’s wife, Georgie, really does.

They Got Married and Engaged on the Same Day—November 25

Tom and Georgie tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at St John of Jerusalem Church in Hackney, London.

The wedding took place on November 25, 2023—the exact same day the couple had gotten engaged three years earlier.

“We got engaged on 25 November 2020, and it’s Tom’s birthday on 24 November and mine on 26 November, so those three days will always be a time of celebration, now more than ever,” Georgie told Vogue.

After years of considering different plans, they chose a winter wedding in London, drawn by the holiday atmosphere and the magic of the season.

Tom popped the question during lockdown on Parliament Hill, a spot they often visited for walks and quiet dates. “We were sitting on the same bench we sat on during our first date,” Georgie said. The place became so meaningful to them that the head table at their big day was named Parliament Hill.

At the ceremony, Georgie looked stunning in a traditional silky ivory gown, paired with a simple veil and a cream beaded headband. She walked down the aisle to “House of Woodcock” by Jonny Greenwood—an elegant nod that reflected their shared love of music. Friends also performed during the service, making it deeply personal and filled with sound.

At the time of the nuptials, Tom was 32 and his wife, Georgie, was 22—a 10-year age difference that hasn’t seemed to faze either of them.

The two currently live in Hackney with their cat, and so far, they haven’t welcomed any children.

First Meeting and How It All Began

Tom met his future better half, Georgie, at a café in Kentish Town in early 2020. For their first date, they grabbed takeaway tea and walked up to Hampstead Heath. It was a freezing January evening, already getting dark, as they sat on a bench overlooking London—cold hands, cold tea, and the start of something serious.

Things moved fast from there. “When lockdown happened that March she moved in with me,” Tom told The Times. “On November 25, the day between both our birthdays, I proposed to her on that same bench on Hampstead Heath and we were married on the same date in 2023.”

Georgie also credited the pandemic for accelerating their connection. “We never had time for those conversations about when we might move in together because lockdown took our whirlwind relationship straight to the next stage. Very quickly it felt as if we’d been together forever,” she said in the same interview.

Who Is Tom Odell’s Wife, Georgie?

Georgie Somerville, now Georgie Odell, is a London-based artist working primarily in sculpture.

Alongside her artistic career, she also plays violin and is a member of the North London Symphony Orchestra. “I’ve always played the violin and I love spending three hours a week at orchestra,” she shared. “It requires my full attention and clears my mind.”

Before fully focusing on the art world, Georgie worked as a model. But during the lockdown, as her relationship with Tom grew more serious, she began to shift her attention. She’s credited her husband for encouraging her to pursue her creative path more seriously.

In 2021, Georgie enrolled at Goldsmiths to study fine art and completed her degree in 2024. Before Goldsmiths, she completed a Foundation Diploma in Sculpture at Central Saint Martins between 2019 and 2020.

Her work draws on childhood, memory, and family, using everyday materials in creative ways—like shaping paper fortune tellers from steel or using school name labels to tell stories.

She has a growing portfolio of both solo and group exhibitions. Her solo show Childhood Souvenirs ran at Soho Revue (2024–2025), while her group appearances include The Seven Lamps at Cornerstone Studios, When The Curtain Falls at Blue Shop Gallery, and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

She also participated in And You Would Have to Believe It at Copeland Gallery and showcased her work at the Goldsmiths Degree Show in June 2024.

His Past Affairs

Before settling down with Georgie, Tom had a few short-lived romances. Back in 2013, he was briefly linked to Taylor Swift, though neither ever confirmed much publicly. In a 2016 interview with Cosmopolitan, he joked about one particularly awkward experience: “I’ve been on some bad dates. One was so bad I actually climbed out of the toilet window.”

Aside from that, the musician once mentioned having a relationship that lasted more than six months, but he kept most details private.
