Loni Anderson, mother of two—Quinton Anderson Reynolds, her adopted son with third husband Burt Reynolds, and Deidra Hoffman, her biological daughter from her first marriage to Bruce Hasselberg—died on August 3, 2025, at a Los Angeles hospital after a prolonged illness. She was 79.
She is survived by her fourth husband, Bob Flick, both of her children, and several grandchildren.

Deidra Hoffman
Deidra Kaye Hasselberg was born in 1965 in Roseville, Minnesota, to Loni Anderson and her first husband, Bruce Hasselberg.
She pursued her education in California and Nevada—earning a BA in History from UCLA between 1983 and 1987, and later completing her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership at the University of Nevada, Reno, from 1992 to 1993.
Over the years, Deidra has taken on several roles in education. She worked as a teacher, then moved into administration, serving as Superintendent and Principal at Northern California Public Schools before eventually joining Prairie Elementary School.
She also made a few appearances as herself on screen, including Intimate Portrait (1999) and The Doctors (2014).
Deidra is married to actor Chris Hoffman. The couple shares two daughters, McKenzie and Megan Hoffman.
In 2009, the star kid was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis after suffering a mini-stroke while blow-drying her hair. The diagnosis came after a hospital MRI confirmed the condition.
Quinton Anderson Reynolds
Quinton is the adopted son of Loni Anderson and her third husband, Burt Reynolds. The couple adopted him as an infant in 1988, the same year they got married.
Although their relationship ended on rocky terms, Anderson spoke warmly about their decision to adopt. During a 2021 tribute at Reynolds’ Hollywood grave site, the actress called Quinton “the best decision that we ever made in our entire relationship.”
Quinton also played a meaningful role in his mother’s later life. In 2008, he walked her down the aisle when she married her fourth husband, folk singer Bob Flick.

Reynolds has spent over a decade building a solid career in Hollywood’s production world, focusing on camera and electrical work behind the scenes.
Some of his more recognizable credits include Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), Tales of Halloween (2015), and Officer Downe (2016), where Reynolds served as second assistant camera.
He’s also worked on TV movies such as A Christmas in Vermont, His Double Life, Paint It Black, and Sniper: Special Ops, taking on roles like assistant camera, digital imaging technician, and data manager.
In television, his work includes a 2015 episode of NCIS and a credit on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver as second assistant camera. More recently, Quinton handled assistant camera duties on the 2024 short film Wait for It.
His filmography spans a wide range of genres—from holiday features like Dear Secret Santa and My Santa to horror titles such as Zombie Night and Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys.
