Actor and musician Dermot Mulroney, known for roles in films like My Best Friend’s Wedding and most recently as Chief Dom Pascal on Chicago Fire, filed for divorce from his wife, Prima Apollinaare, on June 25, 2025, after nearly 15 years of marriage.
In the court documents, Mulroney cited irreconcilable differences. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2010, share two daughters: Mabel Ray, 17, and Sally June, 15. He has requested joint legal and physical custody of both.
Mulroney also has a son, Clyde, from his previous marriage to actress Catherine Keener.

Clyde Mulroney
Clyde is Dermot Mulroney’s firstborn, shared with his first wife, actress Catherine Keener. He was born on June 21, 1999, in New York City. His parents met while working on Survival Quest in 1989 and tied the knot the following year. Their marriage lasted over a decade before ending in divorce in December 2007.
Clyde graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with a degree in Communication. Since then, he has stayed close to the creative world. He wrote the song “La Di Di Da” for the movie Griffin & Phoenix and also lent his voice to the 2009 film Where the Wild Things Are.
He’s released an album called 2000 Tacoma Tape, which includes over 20 songs. Outside of music, the star kid has held roles at several organizations—working as a cinematographer for the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, a production assistant at Nightfire Films, and a director’s assistant at Nick Walker Studios.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Clyde now works as a confidentiality officer at Lionsgate in Los Angeles.
Mabel Ray Mulroney
Mabel Ray is Mulroney’s second child and his first with his second wife, Tharita Cesaroni. She was born in April 2008 and baptized later that year at San Pietro’s Church in Roccascalegna, Italy.
Now 17, Mabel has sparked curiosity among fans wondering if she’ll step into the entertainment world like her father. But Mulroney isn’t in any rush to guide his daughters toward the spotlight.
“I try to keep arts in front of them, whether it’s music or even just museum trips,” he told while discussing about his parenting style with Hollywood News in 2016. “I don’t expect anything of them – it’s hard enough for everyone just to get their homework done at night.”
He added, “Let’s just get them through grade school, and then see. We’ve all certainly seen that being a child actor is unhealthy, so I wouldn’t do that.”
For now, Mulroney is more focused on supporting his daughters through school and letting them find their own interests in their own time.
Sally Mulroney
Sally is the youngest of the Mulroney family. She was born in 2009 and is now 15 years old.
