Did You Know Lauren Compton’s Ex-Husband Manuel Giusti Cheated on Her with a Coworker?

Table of Content Show

Lauren Compton, 38, is an American actress, comedian, and viral content creator who also hosts the “First Date with Lauren Compton” podcast at YMH Studios. While her career has taken off, her love life has been a bit of a rollercoaster. With ten partners in her past and even getting married at a young age, Compton’s romantic journey has been anything but ordinary.

In her early twenties, she fell for a guy named Manuel Giusti. They were in a long-distance relationship, splitting time between Italy and America. The couple decided to exchange vows in 2012, with Compton only 22 at that time.

During their marriage, Compton and Giusti shared more than just a home. They became a musical duo, performing songs together on YouTube under the name Lauren Elise. Their shared passion for music led them to write a song titled “Something More.”

However, their union wasn’t solely based on romance. In a podcast with YMH Studios, Compton revealed that practical reasons played a significant role in their decision to marry. While genuine affection existed between them, Manuel’s need for a green card to remain in the U.S. influenced their choice to wed at such a young age.

Despite their creative collaborations and seemingly strong bond, trouble was brewing beneath the surface. The marriage appeared to be going well, but Manuel was not being faithful. Compton’s suspicions led her to use Find My iPhone to track her husband to a nearby house. When confronted, Manuel admitted to cheating with a coworker.

The couple’s romance met a bitter end, with the cheating incident leading them to divorce. While Lauren has since moved on to build a successful career in entertainment, many are left wondering, “What is her ex-husband Manuel up to now?”

He Owns an Italian Restaurant in California

Before launching his own venture, Manuel, 39, used to work as a manager in an Italian restaurant, where he might have developed his passion for the culinary world. Given his Italian roots, it felt natural for him to bring a taste of Italy to California. In June 2023, he opened Casa 12, located at 12 Washington Blvd, right by the Venice Beach Pier.

The café serves traditional Italian cuisine, featuring an extensive wine list, sangrias, spritz, and a variety of beers. Since opening, Casa 12 has received glowing reviews, with visitors praising the authentic flavors and warm atmosphere. It has quickly earned a 4+ rating across many platforms, becoming a must-visit spot for those seeking a true Italian dining experience by the beach.

From Being a Guitarist in a TV Series to a Real-Life Band

While Manuel has found success in the culinary world, his passion for music has always been a big part of his life. He took on the role of a guitarist in the fictional band “Dekkar” on the comedic TV series Decker.

Along with playing in the band, he also portrayed a version of Special Agent Jonathan Kington, in a show known for its satirical take on action films, complete with over-the-top plotlines and intentionally low-budget production.

Not content to keep his musical ambitions in the world of fiction, Manuel transitioned into the real-life music scene by joining the band Last Second Chance in 2017. As the band’s guitarist, he regularly promotes their work on his Instagram and shares videos of performances with his bandmates.

He Comes From a Family of Five in Modena, Italy

Manuel is of Italian descent, born to parents Giuliano Guerzoni and Sabry Maramotti. His family hails from Modena, Italy, though they currently reside in the nearby town of San Cesario sul Panaro. Growing up with two siblings, Simone and Asia—Asia being the youngest—Manuel enjoyed a close-knit family life.

Though he now lives in Los Angeles, Manuel remains closely connected to his family in Italy. In an Instagram post, he shared a recreation of a 1988 photo with his mother, where he was just a baby in her arms, both of them standing in water.

Adding to that, Manuel was also seen in one of the family vacations back in 2023. They spent time in Bayahibe, where his brother, sister, and parents all joined for the trip. His mother, Sabry, shared some pictures from the trip, giving a glimpse of their time together.
