David Packouz, a well-known musician and inventor, keeps his love life private. However, he often shares moments with his daughter, Amabelle Jane, on social media.
Amabelle was born in February 2007. Her mother is Packouz’s ex-partner, who is referred to as Iz in Guy Lawson’s book War Dogs, a book which is based on Packouz’s real life. According to the book, David and his girlfriend Iz split up around 2010.
It was a tough time for him, especially since he was facing potential prison time back then. As David once shared in an interview, “I thought my life was over… My daughter had just been born, and I was terrified I’d miss watching her grow up.”
But instead of letting that fear paralyze him, David turned things around and dedicated himself to being a great dad. From fun moments on social media to heartfelt posts, he’s proven time and again that he’s all about being there for his little girl.

David seems to have taken on the primary role of raising Amabelle after separating from her mother. Unlike many situations where young children stay with their mom, based on his social media, Amabelle seems to have been living with her dad from an early age.
His Instagram is filled with snapshots of adventures together, from beach days to skiing trips. One of the most heartwarming moments he shared was when Amabelle saw snow for the first time, an experience she called her “dream come true.”

Another memorable post from July 2016 shows their family trip to Israel, a chance for Amabelle to see where her dad’s family came from. There they visited a number of iconic places like the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall and places near the Lebanese and Syrian Borders.
The musician has shared more than 20 posts that are related to his daughter over the span of several years.
He composed a Song For Her
Not only on social media, David’s love for his daughter is also evident in his music. He wrote a song titled More Than Anything, featuring touching lyrics like, “I’ll hold and protect you and dry away your tears and I’ll teach you so you can face your own fear.”
The music video for the song features Amabelle growing up, showcasing their bond through the years. Interestingly, her biological mother also appears in the video.
He Protects His Daughter’s Privacy
As Amabelle grew older, her desire for privacy became more important. Respecting her wishes, David adjusted how he shared their moments online. By 2023, she had asked him not to post pictures of her on social media, a request he honored.

However, on Father’s Day that year, she made a rare exception, allowing him to share a photo of them because she thought it was “cute.” In the caption, David expressed how fortunate he felt to have a daughter who, still is her daddy’s little girl.
