From the moment he was born, Spencir Bridges, 28, seemed destined for the spotlight. With a family tree rooted in Hollywood, this Georgia native, who moved to California, found himself following in some pretty big footsteps.
His grandma, Betty A. Bridges, kicked off the family’s acting legacy before her tragic passing on August 27, 2024. His dad Todd, Uncle Jimmy, and Aunt Verda all caught the acting bug too. So it’s no shocker that little Spencir ended up in front of the cameras.
At just a child, Bridges made his debut in the 2000 TBN movie Building Bridges – a short film about his dad’s rise to fame. From there, he racked up an impressive list of acting credits. From popping on screen with Hollywood legend James Earl Jones in Hallmark’s The Reading Room (2005) to appearing in acclaimed TV shows like ER (2005), House (2007), iCarly (2009), Spencir clearly outdid himself as a child star.
But he wasn’t just a small-screen star. He hit the big screen alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. in Daddy Day Camp (2007) and showed off his skills in films like Black Ball (2003), and Foster Babies (2007).
Now, as Todd and Dori Bridges’ son settles into life in North Hills, CA, fans are buzzing with curiosity. What’s the next act for this former child star? Has he found a new passion, or is he plotting a Hollywood comeback?
Move Over Hollywood, Spencir Is All In For Game Developing
Spencir has swapped the spotlight for a computer screen, and he’s loving every pixel of it (pun intended). The former child star has found a new calling in game development.
After stepping back from acting, he didn’t miss a beat. He dove into his passion for gaming, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Design from Woodbury University.
Now, he is crushing it as an Unreal Technical Director and Designer at Cantina Creative, a role he’s been rocking since February 2023. But that’s just the latest chapter in his tech adventure.
Before Cantina, he worked for the Netflix show at The Third Floor. Using Unreal Engine 4, he prepared pre-vis and post-vis workflows that had the production team cheering.
And let’s not forget the games. He has left his mark on some serious heavy hitters like LEGO 2K Drive, Mortal Kombat Onslaught, Pier 87, Changing Tracks, and Cryptid Crossing. From implementing cinematic tools to creating visual effects, he’s done it all.
When he’s not in the digital trenches, Bridges keeps his creative juices flowing with pixel art (check out @project_goliad on Instagram for some eye candy). And for those high-energy days? You might spot him pulling off some sick moves on a skateboard or bike.

His Love Life Is Open To Interpretation
Spencir has been spotted many times with Adriana Evangelina Botley, in photos shared on their social media accounts. Adriana, 28, graduated from San Francisco State University and is now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at California State University.
Interestingly, she has tagged him in her Instagram bio with red heart emojis, “@dispencir đź’ž,” suggesting a close connection.
Meanwhile, Spencir’s Facebook relationship status still lists him as single, which leaves some room for interpretation. Although, their social media activity adds to sensible speculation. The two often post pictures together, showing them enjoying outings and meals. These shared moments hint at more than just friendship. Are they keeping their relationship private, or are they simply very close friends?
