Former Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn has been on quite the journey lately, both on and off stage. Known for his wild energy behind the kit, his personal life has been just as eventful as any Slipknot show.
Back in 2010, Chris and Melissa Fehn said their “I dos” on June 19th. Two years later, in March 2012, they welcomed their little headbanger, Jaxon Atari Fehn.
Melissa was ride-or-die for him, especially when things got rough with Slipknot in 2019. She wasn’t afraid to throw down on social media, defending her man left and right. “Thank you, Chris [Fehn] for being an amazing dad,” she posted, probably while giving a virtual middle finger to the haters.
And boy, did she have some choice words for anyone messing with her family. She posted,
I haven’t heard from anyone in years so F*CK OFF. We have SOOO many ppl that are actual family. That actually care.
She was all about their kids too, bragging, “Our kids are amazing. They give zero f*cks about what their dad did, who else can say that? No one.
But even the strongest drum skins can break, and in 2021, Chris and Melissa called it quits. Weirdly enough, she kept the Fehn name. Maybe she just really digs how it sounds?
Now, here’s where things get interesting. Chris didn’t waste any time getting back in the game. He has remarried, showing there’s life beyond Slipknot and divorce.
Chris Found Love Again In Veronica The “Best”
After his divorce, Chris didn’t stay single for long. His new relationship with Veronica Fehn came to light on December 29, 2021, when he shared a photo on Instagram captioned “My Love.”
Their romance moved quickly. In 2022, the couple got married. Fehn isn’t shy about expressing his feelings for his new partner.
In one Instagram post, he wrote,
I know my past sucks, and I know I’m not the best, but this woman is. I love you, babe.
Their harmony reached a high note in March 2023 with the arrival of their son, Will. Fehn excitedly shared the news on Instagram:
Welcome to my new son Will. Another metal head born. Tis a great day!!! 🤘🤘
The proud papa couldn’t help but gush about Veronica’s transition to motherhood, praising her as the “Best new mom ever.”
Now, the Fehn family of three has set up their own little mosh pit in New Boston, Michigan.
