Despite the financial challenges, young Rhenzy found joy in baseball and weekly karaoke sessions at Crane Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. These performances also sparked his interest in acting. “For a kid his age, he just wasn’t afraid of going up on the stage,” his mom said. And his go-to song was Hotel California.
In 2014, his mother married Michael Harclerode, marking a new chapter in their family. After finishing his freshman year at Edgewater High School, they moved to Santa Monica, California. During this time, he developed a close bond with his stepfather, who became both a mentor and a trusted friend.
Besides, the 28-year-old young star also maintains a close relationship with his biological father, Johann, who remains in Winter Park. He still visits Johann during the holidays. On Father’s Day in 2020, he even dedicated an Instagram post to his dad.
